WCIA.com: "More than 200 Books Removed from Prison"

In light of the removal of 200 being removed at the University of Illinois Library at the Danville Correctional Center, co-founder and director of the Education Justice Project (EJP) Rebecca Ginsburg shared this message with local news station WCIA: “It’s worrying to us insofar as we want to develop a program at Danville Correctional Center. We would like to have a degree program there, and because we want to see other programs across the state of Illinois grow and expand in Illinois state prisons, and the message this sends is, ‘No, don’t bother'.”
